£8 a person.
One price for the 2027 run, no extras, no leader rate. Here’s exactly what it covers and how booking works.
What the £8 covers
Everyone taking part pays the same, leaders included. Leaders count towards your team of seven, so there’s no free supervisor slot.
Entry to the run
Your place in the game, your start zone and your allocated start time.
Access the app
On iOS and Android, for every member of your team.
Your team pack
Sent digitally before the run, with a paper copy available at your Start Zone.
A badge each
One Monopoly Run badge per player, collected on the day. See below.
Three dates to put in the diary
9th November 2026, 7pm
Ten thousand places go live at once and they move fast. We’d suggest holding off on confirming travel or accommodation until you actually have your places.
19th February 2027 @ 23:59
Your last chance to register, edit players or change teams. After it nothing can be altered. The exact date is confirmed each year, and places may well have gone long before it.
Saturday 6 March 2027
First Saturday in March, as always. Starts run from 9:30am.
One person starts it, then you can share the load
One leader signs the group up and becomes your group coordinator. From there you can add more coordinators to share the work, or hand it over completely.
Register your group
One leader signs the group up. Once that’s done you can add more coordinators to share the job or take it on. You re-register each year, so a previous account doesn’t carry over automatically.
Pick your Start Zone
Chosen at registration, subject to availability. Places are spread across the zones to keep numbers even, so they don’t all stay open equally long.
Add and pay for your players
These are the same step. A player isn’t in the system until they’ve been paid for, and that payment is what secures the place. Do this before anything else, because places go fast. No names yet? Reserve them with placeholders and fill them in later. Reducing numbers afterwards is possible, but refunds are chargeable.
Sort them into teams
Once your places are safe, arrange people into teams of up to seven. Bring as many teams as you like, there’s no cap on teams, only on total places. Each team plays separately, so make sure you have enough leaders to cover every team that needs one. Team names come from a list we provide in the system, so you pick one rather than inventing your own.
Set a team speed
Park Run, Joggers or Runners, chosen per team. This is how we group teams into games, so you end up playing against teams after the same kind of day as you. Joggers suits most teams and is the one we recommend.
Team packs and badges
Your pack, digitally
We text a download link to each team’s registered phone number shortly before the run. It has your team pack and your app login details in it.
Or on paper
One printed copy per team, available from the marshals at your Start Zone on the day.
Your QR code
Coordinators get a QR code once the cut-off has passed. It’s what marshals and the badge desk scan. Save it into your phone’s wallet so you’re not digging through emails on the day.
Badges are collected on the day, or not at all
Your coordinator, or a leader they nominate, collects the whole group’s badges from St Bride Institute just off Fleet Street, between 10am and 4pm on the day of the run. Bring the QR code, which saves to your phone’s wallet. We don’t post badges out before or after, so if nobody collects them, your group goes home without them.
